China's chip manufacturing "777": ushering in the 7 nanometer era

Today, #technology has become an integral part of modern life. In the field of technology, chips play a vital role. The development of chip technology will directly determine a country's status in the information industry. China has always adhered to the strategy of self-reliance in this regard, and has always insisted on self-improvement and independent innovation. In terms of self-developed chips, China is going all out, from 7nm Chinese chip manufacturing to chip ecosystem construction.

Chip is the core component of modern electronic products, widely used in computers, communications, semiconductor industry, electronic circuits, etc. Its importance is self-evident. At present, the world's three chip manufacturing giants are IntelSamsung and Texas Instruments, and other international brands continue to appear in the chip industry. However, China, which aims to narrow the huge gap with Western R&D teams and promote the process of informatization, has already integrated into it.

7-nanometer chip manufacturing technology is the core of current global chip technology, and currently only three companies in the world have applied 7-nanometer leading technology to manufacture semiconductor chips. However, as a number of domestic companies such as Loongson, SMIC, Hua Hong Semiconductor, and Yangtze River Storage have invested in the 7nm manufacturing camp, China's chip manufacturing industry is gradually approaching the global chip leadership.

Compared with the very few chip manufacturing companies in China, there are two giants in the world's most advanced 7nm chip manufacturing process, namely #TSMC and #Samsung Electronics. In terms of research and development, the reason why the 7-nanometer chip can be successfully developed is based on a variety of supporting synthetic chemicals and production material technologies, thus forming a manufacturing process with hundreds of layers of complex processes.

The development rate of China's chip manufacturing industry is extremely high, but the current progress is not as high as other developed countries. At this time, several domestic chip manufacturing companies are indeed trying to follow up and have tried in the 7-nanometer field.

In order to narrow the huge gap between the chip industry and international giants and enhance the winning advantage of China's chip industry, China must build a more complete chip ecosystem.
