Intel FPGA product family expands lineup
【Lansheng Technology Information】In order to meet the growing needs of customers, Intel recently announced that it will further expand the lineup of Intel Agilex® FPGA product series and continue to expand the product supply range of the Programmable Solutions Division to meet the growing demand for customized workloads. Provides lower total cost of ownership and more complete solutions. During Intel FPGA Technology Day on September 18, Intel will focus on introducing these new products and technologies, where hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects will have in-depth exchanges and interactions with Intel and partner experts.
FPGAs play an important role in Intel's product portfolio, providing flexible, customized platform capabilities to meet the demanding needs of applications and workloads. Intel FPGA makes full use of powerful AI capabilities at the chip, IP and software levels to help customers address various challenges from the cloud to the edge.
Intel's latest announcement shows how the company will gradually increase investment in its FPGA product line. In 2023, Intel plans to release 15 new FPGA products. So far, a total of 11 products have been launched, which exceeds the total number of FPGA products released by Intel over the years. Intel disclosed in its second quarter 2023 earnings call that its PSG business unit's revenue increased by 35% year-on-year, setting a record high for three consecutive quarters.
Intel's strong Agilex product lineup remains true to Intel's commitment to leveraging FPGAs to address programmable logic needs at all levels, including continually improving FPGA capabilities to help developers build solutions faster. At the same time, Intel also officially released the open source version of Open FPGA Stack (OFS), the first production adapter based on the Intel F2000X Infrastructure Processor (IPU) platform, and the new Nios® V processor.
