【Lansheng Technology News】October 25, 2023 - ON Semiconductor announced that its Hyperlux™ image sensor series has been integrated into the Renesas R-Car V4x platform to enhance the vision system of semi-autonomous driving, thereby improving the safety of the car. With a strategic focus on safety systems and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), the two companies provide leading sensor performance and advanced systems on a chip (SoC) to automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers.


Hyperlux image sensors feature a 2.1 µm pixel size, industry-leading 150dB ultra-high dynamic range (HDR) and LED flicker reduction (LFM) capabilities, and can withstand high temperatures, key elements required for automotive applications. Hyperlux image sensors combined with Renesas' flexible R-Car software platform provide automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers with advanced automotive computing technology to meet application needs such as ADAS and up to Level 3 autonomous driving.

This new product portfolio builds on the strong product portfolio that Renesas and ON Semiconductor have jointly deployed in automotive applications for many years.
