Infineon selected as the world's most sustainable company

 


【Lansheng Technology News】On December 20, 2023, Infineon Technologies AG was once again selected into the Dow Jones Sustainability Global Index. S&P Global recently announced the relevant assessment report in New York, USA.


Elke Reichart, member of the Infineon Technology Management Board and Chief Digital Transformation Officer responsible for sustainability-related businesses, said: “Infineon has been selected as the world’s most sustainable company for 14 consecutive years, and we are very proud of this. Infineon is making steady progress towards its goal of becoming carbon neutral (Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions) by 2030, and progress is well underway. Despite roughly doubling business, the company's carbon emissions to date have decreased by 56.8% compared to a 2019 baseline.
