ON Semiconductor and Li Auto renew strategic agreement to jointly build next-generation 800V smart electric vehicles

 


【Lansheng Technology News】On January 9, 2024, ON Semiconductor announced the renewal of its long-term supply agreement with luxury smart electric vehicle brand Li Auto. Li Auto uses ON Semiconductor's mature 8-megapixel image sensor in its extended-range electric vehicle (EREV). After the signing of this agreement, Li Auto will use ON Semiconductor's high-performance EliteSiC 1200 V bare chip in its next-generation 800V high-voltage pure electric model, and will continue to integrate ON Semiconductor's 8-megapixel high-performance image sensor in its future models. The cooperation between the two companies will accelerate the electrification of vehicles and improve driving safety.


ON Semiconductor's EliteSiC 1200 V products enable more energy-efficient and lighter designs, helping to increase cruising range and speed up charging. The bare chip allows customers to carry out differentiated packaging designs based on specific application needs. The 8-megapixel image sensor improves the system's intelligent perception capabilities, enabling safer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and moving towards L3/L4 level autonomous driving systems.
